Noego Coffee
Ormeau
Noego Coffee Co is a cool espresso lounge and roastery found in an industrial estate at Ormeau, just off the M1. This hidden gem is well-worth a detour off the freeway.
Owned by the original Coffee Guy, Dan Salter, and his business partner/wife Beverley, Noego (pronounced No Ego) has transformed from a coffee Kombi at Miami Markets to warehouse roastery and now fully-fledged café.

Customers can sit on the ground floor alongside the coffee roaster or on the mezzanine level overlooking this eclectic café(decked out with vintage and retro furniture) with plenty of seating options from communal tables to cosy coffee nooks.

Freshly roasted, organic coffee includes Noego’s signature 3-origin house blend, single origin, cold brew and Freecaf - decaf coffee free from chemicals and caffeine.

Top-notch breakfast fare ranges from acai bowls topped with house made granola and fresh, seasonal fruit, and chilli scrambled eggs on sourdough with crumbled feta and confit cherry tomatoes to Noego’s Biiig Breakfast of free-range eggs, grilled bacon, marinated mushrooms, house-made baked beans, potato rosti, cherry tomatoes and feta on sourdough.

Saturday morning patrons can opt for the weekend special such as chocolate pancakes with peanut butter mousse, house-made coconut ice cream, chocolate sauce and peanut brittle or eggs benedict with cashew herb hollandaise sauce, wilted spinach, grilled broccolini and bacon on sourdough.

Lunch options include Noego’s Buddha Bliss Bowl with kale and chickpea falafels, beetroot pearl couscous, zucchini noodles, rocket and roasted carrots, and slow-cooked pulled pork on brioche bun with green apple slaw and chipotle aioli.

There’s also a selection of sweet treats on offer like gluten-free white chocolate and raspberry baked cheesecake and raw Nutella, Ferrero or Golden Gaytime cheezecakes.
