WavyBone Coffee
Labrador
Wavybone started out as a retro 69' Franklin coffee caravan popping up to serve the masses their own sought-after brew across Gold Coast events and venues. Soon enough their popularity saw them move into their flagship venue at 36 Musgrave Avenue in Labrador’s café pocket.

Since opening in 2020, Wavybone’s loyal followers get their daily dose of top-notch coffee in their trendy new digs, complete with slick new merch, a retro turntable and vinyl stacks shelved on the seafoam VJ panelling. The walls are lined with arty photos and the turntable cranks out chill tunes making it a super laid-back space to hang out and get your caffeine fix.

The menu is split into ‘Between the Buns’ (featuring loaded bagels like the Ruben bagel below, stacked baguettes and tasty toasties) and ‘Basically Brunch’ (featuring favourites like granola bowls, chia seed pudding, dirty waffles, smashed avo and spicy scramble to name a few). There are also HRVST juices and baked cabinet nibbles.

Wavybone is all about serving culturally crafted coffee, with their top-notch beans and special seasonal espresso blend care of the local roasters at Blackboard coffee. Wavybone’s coffee is a blend of 3 beans from farms in Colombia, Brazil & Ethiopia that offers up a smooth caramel body in milk with more prominent berry and citrus notes popping through black coffee. These guys know their way around coffee and with seasonality and quality being the highest priority, are constantly getting fresh bean shipments to celebrate the coffees natural sweetness.

Make the ‘Bone’ (as it is affectionately called by those in the know) your new laid back chill zone.
