Sea Urchin Kitchen & Bar
Main Beach
Sea Urchin kitchen and bar is located steps from the sand on the corner of Woodroffe Avenue and Main Beach Parade and is like a big blue salute to the waves crashing nearby.
This newcomer is a delightful addition to the Main Beach café scene, offering all day breakfasts, killer coffee and signature cocktails right beside the beach!

Open and airy, Sea Urchin makes the most of its lovely location with floor to ceiling windows and open alfresco dining areas, where pooch-friendly turf and water bowls welcome you and your furry friend. The décor inside is simple bistro style with a mix of nautical and rustic features. You’ll spot Colombian coffee bean sacks mixed with seahorses and whale tails adorning the walls, under plantation fans and rattan pendant lights.

A popular spot for morning coffee goers, Sea Urchin’s bean of choice is Campos Coffee Roasters Superior caramelly and rich blend. The selection of fresh cabinet muffins, tarts, slices and croissants, as well as a breakfast special will entice those on the run with their coffee. The Breakie wrap with spinach, avo, feta, scrambled egg, bacon and beetroot relish is delicious! There are some inspired breakie options catering to all diets – for the hungry or hungover the urchin’s big breakfast is a hit and the kiddies like the “finding Nemo” fish and chips. The lunch and weekend dinner menu is anchored in offerings from under the sea, with some delightful small plates and sides to choose from, as well as some classic mains and cleverly named burgers.

Sea Urchin’s beverage menu is extensive with hot drinks, cold drinks (smoothies, iced mocha or dirty chai), fresh juices and cocktails.

There are beers, ciders brews on tap, including Heineken, Hahn and James Squire 150 lashes.

Choose from a lovely selection of white wines, red wines, bubbles and spritzers. If you’re in a summery mood make sure you try the Watermelon Sugar cocktail.
