HiPoke
Kirra
Located at number 48 on Kirra’s busy beachfront Musgrave Street, HiPoke was created after it’s Maui-born owner decided it was time to bring the beloved Hawaiian national dish to Gold Coast shores. The poke bowl is an easy and healthy meal packed with nutrients, colours and flavours. With its captivating beach-front views, refreshingly adaptable menu and friendly staff, this little poke-bowl bar is a hit with foodies!

If you haven’t yet discovered the delights of a poke bowl, you must try HiPoke, and if you have, you simply must sample some of the best poke this side of the equator. Traditional poke bowls are characterised by fresh marinated seafood, cut carefully into cubes and served on sticky rice with vegetables and sesame soy sauce. The joy of HiPoke is that you can ‘Build Your Bowl’ to adapt the dish to your taste by choosing from a wide variety of bases, proteins, salads, sauces and crunches.

If you’re not sure what to choose, try one of the six signature gluten-free dishes, including tuna (with avocado, cucumber, shallots, onion and soy sesame sauce), kingfish (with edamame, mango, seaweed salad, bean sprouts, ceviche sauce and nut mix crumble), salmon (with purple cabbage, edamame, cucumber, onion, coconut and soy sesame sauce), karaage chicken (with edamame, carrot, corn, sweet chilli mayo and lotus root chips), marinated tofu (with Enoki mushrooms, onion, cabbage, shallots, seaweed salad, cherry tomato, pickled ginger and ponzu sauce), and the kid’s karaage chicken bowl (with avocado, rice, fried noodles and mayo).

Also renowned for its wholesome design-your-own juices and healthy smoothies, HiPoke offers a Açai smoothie blended with banana, strawberry and apple juice, along with five other delicious smoothie offerings all served with honey and Greek yoghurt, including banana, berry, mango coconut, green (with kale, spinach, cucumber, pear, kiwi and dates) and breaky (with organic cold brew coffee, banana, oats, protein powder and cacao). You can choose any milk alternative and add extras to taste.
