Miss Browns Vintage Clothing
Burleigh Heads
Miss Brown Vintage Clothing, founded by the very talented and creatively spirited Madeleine Thomson, is located in Burleigh’s busy James Street and is sister to stores in Byron Bay, Brunswick Heads, Sydney and Melbourne.

Creator and buyer Madeleine Thomson is a lover of 1970's Boho Chic Style and is a strong believer in ethical fashion. She specialises in vintage denim, re-modified vintage and upcycled clothing.

Madeleine teamed up with Rochelle La Rochelle (founder and creator of Hello Sailor Vintage Fair) and together they created their flagship founding store in Byron Bay. Thanks to their knowledge, passion and unique eye for vintage treasures, one store quickly became more.

Madeleine sources vintage products from all over the world, mainly USA but also the UK, Europe and Japan. She has mastered the vision of re-inventing by-gone eras to become on-trend fashion.

Miss Brown is genius at using vintage remnant pieces of fabric to recreate styles from the 50's, 60's and 70's and has mastered the remodification (or tailoring) of vintage clothing to keep our favourite eras alive.

This wonderfully eclectic store is filled with pieces with so much history and character. You'll delight in creating your own individual style with one off pieces. And don’t forget, you're also choosing an environmentally friendly way of shopping, instead of purchasing new mass-produced clothing. How utterly cool!

Check out the classic swimwear and the perfect combos on display – like a pair of vintage Levi’s paired with a vintage Harley tee and a classic waist-tied flanno or vintage denim overalls paired with a retro sweater or Hard Rock café jacket. Cute lil' Miss Brown recycle bags are also free with every purchase over $50 (or you can purchase one in store for $5).

Best of all, Miss Brown Vintage Clothing is always stocked with heaps of vintage denim. Why not pop in to grab yourself a classic!
