Moustache is a pint-sized espresso and wine bar, located in Nobby Beach's bustling lifestyle and dining precinct The Oxley 1823.
Despite its size, Moustache certainly packs a punch with an all-day menu of exceptional share-style eats, killer cocktails and new-age wines.
When it comes to places to enjoy a tipple, Moustache is certainly at the top of the list. The cosy venue features terracotta tiles, dark brown timber tones and a floor-to-ceiling wall filled with a colourful array of funky wines.
As the sun begins to lower and 'golden hour' arrives, Moustache is soaked in glowing orange and yellow tones, which punters can lap up with the footpath seating. Hidden behind the venue, there is also more laneway seating available.
When it comes to the food, a range of all-day bites grace the menu. Early risers can enjoy the likes of Italian-style shakshuka, rosemary and olive crumpet with hollandaise, and prosciutto, stracciatella and rocket-stuffed pannini or housemade focaccia with whipped butter and jam.
As the sun goes down and the wine glasses come out a sumptuous selection of Euro-inspired plates are available. Some standout dishes include bluefin tuna with stracciatella crudo, beef carpaccio, anchovies on toast, cheese and potato gnocchi, grilled prawns with 'Nduja and crispy leek and flank steak with caramelised onions, beetroot and jus.
For drinks, a top notch coffee can be enjoyed at any point of the day, while an extensive drinks menu featuring top notch international and local wines and a carefully curated list of cocktails are available come afternoon/evening.
