Currumbin Valley
Currumbin Valley Harvest is one of the Gold Coast's hidden treasures - a gorgeous roadside community hub overlooking Currumbin Creek, incorporating an organic local growers market and a boho cafe.
Head out into the lush green heart of Currumbin Valley and towards the end of Currumbin Valley Road from Friday to Sunday you'll find a cluester of cars parked outside what looks like a rustic converted open air barn.
Step inside to find a long table of top notch locally grown fruit and vegetables for sale, a cafe counter and beyond, a virtual garden of eden where customers sit on a massive deck overlooking the rolling green hills of the beautiful Currumbin Valley.
There are also large beds of herbs, greens and medicinal plants which can be purchased and picked fresh to take home, as well as shelves of local artisan products for sale, including sauces, jars of nuts, candles and self-serve oils.
The onsite cafe specializes in delectable Mio buckwheat crispy wraps, made fresh to order, with fillings of Tassie salmon, goat feta and pesto, basil tomato cheese, mushroom truffle and Osaka Okonomiyaki (Japanese omelette) all including fresh salads and handmade sauces.
To drink there's organic Quest coffee (locally roasted), sticky masala chai, Hannari premium grade matcha, Tribal Moon cacao, garden tea (hand-picked), organic tea, house made organic cold pressed juice, smoothies, frappes or iced tea (locally made herbal brew).
