The Main Beach Bakery is a local mainstay and the busiest hub on trendy Tedder Avenue thanks to its sensational coffee, fresh-made sandwiches and next level baked goods.
The Bakery proudly boasts having been repeatedly voted home of the best pies in the Gold Coast. There is a steady stream of foot traffic picking up a quick caffeine hit and a tasty snack and for those looking to take a load off, there is curbside bistro seating along the bakery frontage.
The bakery proudly serves the signature blend of Brisbane based roaster Fonzie Abbott, Highside espresso, sourced from Indonesia and Central South America. The rich chocolate flavours balanced by a sweet vibrant body and the slight spice in the tail, keeps coffee connoisseurs coming back for more.
Those on the run with their coffee would be hard-pressed to find a bigger selection of sweet and fluffy fresh cabinet treats including croissants, bagels, breaky bars, cakes, muffins and slices. Fancy an apple crumble or a Boston bun, an Afghan cookie or a cinnamon scroll, a gingerbread man or a rocky road slice, this place has it all!
This iconic eatery is also incredibly popular for its stand-out breakfast bagels and croissants, with the toasted smoked salmon bagel with cream cheese, red onion and capers being a hands-down favourite. This place also creates truly amazing specialty pies, with more than 25 recipes on the menu including cheese and bacon, chunky steak, chicken and veg and chicken and leek. But the Bakery’s pièce de résistance would have to be the award-winning Jack Daniels whiskey-marinated steak and chunky potato pie with caramelised onion and sage.
The salad and sandwich bar serves delicious, healthy and freshly made lunch options and the friendly staff invite you to come and try their signature special – the chicken tender wrap. You won't be disappointed.
