Returning locals love the simple country appeal of the timber Vijay boards, concrete floors and and corrugated iron roof, complemented by comfy bench and stool seating, welcoming staff, and leafy plants all around. Wafting aromas of beautiful baked goods in Ferg’s front cabinet draw hungry folks in.

The super friendly Ferg’s team are all about bringing good old-fashioned community shed vibes to this hip and happening ‘hood, and you’ll find it a hub of hanging out for those who enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and local spirit.

If you have a crew in tow, venture passed the timber-framed windows to find a little country-style oasis outback, with wooden table-tops, comfy vintage chairs and a scattering of high stool seating. While this relaxing space can comfortably host a group, its chill-vibe also makes this the perfect place for a cracking cuppa coffee while you read the paper or tap away on your device to knock off a bit of work.

Speaking of coffee, the exceptional bean and blend of choice comes from one of the original specialty roasters, Sydney-based Gabriel Coffee, whose roastery aims to make “tasty coffee for tasty people”, and they have—Ferg’s and Gabriel are a match made in heaven that keeps coffee lovers coming back for a brew that goes perfectly with a breakie or brunch bite.

Speaking of bites, the cheeky folks behind this cute cafe will be quick to tell you that it stands for “Fresh Eats Really Good Shi*t” – just sample the cabinet food or clever breakfast and brunch menu and that’s exactly what you will find.
