Caffeine Kings
Miami
Caffeine Kings is a self-proclaimed ‘house of worship’ for interesting food, cool tunes and exceptional coffee, located at the vibrant southern end of Miami on the Gold Coast Highway.
Owners Jen and James Wren wanted to give the Gold Coast a taste of their hometown, Melbourne, and have transformed the old laundromat space into an exceptional coffee house, known for its smooth beans and iconic street art. The work by artist John Kane, has the space feeling a lot like a hip Melbourne graffiti-covered laneway.

Caffeine Kings’ house blend of choice comes from Melbourne-based specialty coffee roastery ‘Proud Mary’ which is recognised as a pioneer of the specialty coffee industry in Australia. The Honduran sourced natural processed coffee which goes into the widely popular house-blend exhibits heaps of sweetness, balance, and complexity and saw the Gold Coast Bulletin call out Caffeine Kings brew as one of 2020’s Top 5 best coffees on the coast. The Kings are constantly experimenting with a variety of coffee beans and brewing methods to keep bringing outstanding brews to our caffeine-lovers.

While caffeine is clearly king here, this popular café also offers an extensive beverage menu including cold-pressed juices, teas, smoothies and iced drinks. For those seeking something a little harder, Caffeine Kings is also licensed so you can enjoy a beer or cider, wine or seltzer, or choose from a long list of spirits, signature and classic cocktails. The Gold Coast Bulletin listed the Kings Espresso Martini in the top ten martinis in the city. King’s owner says it’s all down to their killer beans.

Beyond the beverages, Caffeine Kings offers tasty street-eats and an all-day breakfast menu featuring their Açaí bowls, Spicy Avo, Canadian Waffles, the Royal Benedict and the Kings Feast. Their all day-menu offers burrito bowls, poke bowls and classic burgers and they are now offering their full menu for takeaway and delivery (within 2kms) during regular operating hours.

Kings also offers free wifi and PC charging dock and is open late from Thursday to Sunday to host cosy karaoke nights and weekly live electronic music events, featuring some of the Gold Coast's best DJs. This is the hole in the wall haunt you’ll never want to leave!
