The Arc

The Arc is the new incarnation of the Gold Coast institution formerly known as Nobby’s Arc, located next door to its daytime co-owned twin Forreal Kitchen, on the popular eat street corner underneath Santorini on Chairlift Ave, Nobby Beach.

While Forreal Kitchen feeds the daytime crowd, the Arc services the afternoon and after-dark crew of thirsty diners.  

The Arc’s cool and casual rustic timber courtyard seating shaded under striking yellow striped umbrellas merges with the sleek jungle vibe of the indoor bar and lounge.  Slide up to the stylish bar, past the potted palms and brooding animal statues into the swanky velvet lounges where the neon invites bad ideas and good times. 

This dark and sexy space is a magnet for after-dark revellers, sipping spritzers or specialty cocktails.

The Arc shares Forreal Kitchen’s enticing menu offering breads, chips and salads, at least ten tapas options (oysters, calamari, prawns, chicken, pork, salmon sashimi, halloumi and corn ribblets) and five bao selections (pork, halloumi, fish, chicken or Jackfruit and eggplant).  There are also fourteen different hand-stretched woodfired pizzas to choose from with gluten-free and vegan options available.  

The extensive drinks menu means you can follow your whim and match your meal to your wine, beer or cocktail of choice! With half a dozen beers on tap and more than a dozen classic cocktails by Mr Consistent, you’ll be spoilt for choice.  Look out for excellent lunch and happy hour specials.  There are ‘mad’ dining and drink deals on Mondays, Comedy on Tuesdays and Wednesdays plus live music and DJs Thursday through Sunday
