Lars Bar & Grill

Lars Bar & Grill is a stunning modern Australian restaurant, bringing a mouthwatering menu that spotlights wood-fired steak and fresh local seafood to Mermaid Beach. 

Lars takes pride of place in a ground floor corner site at Nobby Beach's boutique retail, dining and lifestyle village, The Oxley 1823. 

Designed as a neighbourhood restaurant and meeting place, Lars Bar & Grill boasts a neutral colour scheme, with touches of gold, plush blue-grey carpet, warm timber features and floor to ceiling windows - delivering a sleek, yet warm, welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. 

The exposed kitchen allows guests to watch as the chefs work their magic on the dishes. The dining
room has seating for 80 people with an additional 30 seats outside. 

When it comes to the food, Lars boasts a modern Australian menu that highlights Queensland's incredible produce such as locally sourced line-caught fish, highlighting the region's coastal flavours and Stockyard beef, sourced from a local, family-owned farm. 

Dishes such as Caviar Tarts; Fresh Oysters; Baked Scallops, Garlic Chive Butter and Roasted Pumpkin Ravioli, Sage Brown Butter and Pinenuts will feature on the snacks and entree menu, and mains will include a choice of ten different steaks; Pork Tomahawk, Burnt Onion Mustard, Jus Gras and Grilled Coral Trout, Smoked Tomato & Capsicum.

Wash it all down with a glass of wine, beer or one of Lars Bar & Grill's tastebud-tickling cocktails.
