Witches Falls Circuit
Tamborine Mountain
Witches Falls Circuit is one of the best bushwalks on Tamborine Mountain, traversing through lush rainforest before reaching a lookout over Witches Falls with inland views of the Dividing Range.
Located in Witches Falls National Park, Queensland's first national park established in 1908, this 3.1km circuit is a moderate trek commencing near the parking lot on Main Western Road. It should take approximately one hour to complete.

The southern entrance begins to the left of the parking lot. From here, a goat track zigzags down the steep mountainside through open forest before levelling out.

At the base of the mountain, the air is cool and the path is shaded by a canopy of towering trees. Walk through dense rainforest, past piccabeen palms and giant strangler figs before reaching a viewing platform over Witches Falls and the verdant valley.

The return track criss-crosses the forest floor before a reasonably easy uphill climb with a series of stone steps to navigate.

Need to know - While the falls only flow after recent rain, this is still an extremely rewarding bushwalk.
