Distilled locally in Burleigh Heads, Burly Gin have their own boutique gin bar, Burly Bar, a very cool two level venue in Currumbin. Serving up a delicious array of small plates and carefully curated cocktails, Burly Bar is a must try!
Walking in, the muted, warm tones of the venue’s colour scheme immediately set the vibe. Its understated elegance is both relaxing and inviting. The upstairs lounge area, a dreamy vision swathed in floor to ceiling maroon, is perfect for date night.
The food menu consists of a delightful range of small plates including Kingfish Ceviche with fingerlime ponzu; Beef Tartare, with fermented hot sauce & saltbush cracker as well as larger dishes like Crumbed Snapper with romesco, grilled green beans & herb salad. There's also a cheese plate and a bar plate (Pepperberry & Pork Salami, crackers, cheese, pickles & nut). All of the menu items are designed to pair perfectly with Burly Gin.
Burly Bar is committed to making each experience unique and memorable. Switching it up every week, the team dreams up new food and drink specials, with their style being self-described as “experimental” and “approachable”. Burly Bar also sets themself apart by incorporating Aussies flavours, like in their SLamington (lamington & blackberry-infused berry gin, chocolate, sherry & toasted coconut whey).
The impressive array of luscious gin cocktails are divided into sections - Burly Cucumber Gin. Burly Citrus Gin and Burly Berry Gin. There's also a Gin Tasting Flight on offer as well as a small selection of G & T's and Highballs.
Burly Bar also offers beers and wines for non-gin drinkers.
Good to know - There are bottles of gin available for purchase to take home.
Need to know - Burly Bar offers ample on-site parking, with a carpark at the entrance on Currumbin Creek Rd.
