Southern Gold Coast Walk

Updated: Oct 27, 2023

Eddie Kornhauser Recreational Reserve is one of the Gold Coast’s lesser-known recreational treasures.  Nestled in Elanora’s Lakewoods, just west of Currumbin, this always green parkland offers walks with views across the water, the paddocks and bushland.

Named after one of the most prolific early property developers on the Gold Coast, the late Eddie Kornhauser, this sprawling reserve offers parklands with dog off leash area, tidal water ponds and a network of sealed pathways for walkers or cyclists accessible via ample carparks on Casuarina Drive or Guineas Creek Road.

The Western section of the recreation reserve is bordered by Tallebudgera Connection Road and Baekea Drive near the horse stables and Tallebudgera State School and runs south to Tipuana and Valley Drives in the South.
