Housed within Nobby’s Beach favourite Backyard Café, on Lavarack Road a block from the beach, you’ll find another funky retro and vintage clothing favourite, the cleverly named Backyard Clothes Line.
Venture beyond the iconic Backyard Café’s unassuming coral-coloured street frontage, take the stairs from the café and you’ll find the cool collection of retro second-hand clothing and vintage treasures waiting for you.
Creators certainly aren’t lacking a sense of humour naming the vintage clothing shop the Backyard Clothes Line and they’re always up for a frock try-on!
This is a carefully curated collection of favourites and remodifications from eras past. You’re bound to find the perfect throwback treasure. You just might have to fight the frock-loving fellas for your find!
Once you’re shopped out, you can stop for a coffee, beverage or bite either in the street-front café space called ‘The Brunch Club’ or behind the white picket fence in the sprawling Mexican inspired beer-garden and cantina, complete with giant lawn games, festoon lights and plenty of picnic tables.
