Tommy’s Italian offers an incredible menu of favourites from the Italian culinary world combined with the stunning backdrop that is Currumbin Beach.

The team is all about ensuring quality so wherever possible, the Tommy's team shop local with an aim to support small businesses, with a view to creating a community among their supply chain and the neighbourhood.

With two levels of seating, the prime beach views from Tommy can be enjoyed from the top balcony, whilst downstairs there's indoor seating and a handful of tables on the narrow outdoor terrace, where well-behaved pooches are welcome to join their owners.

Diners can settle in and enjoy the Tommy’s experience, starting with delicious antipasti such as oysters with chardonnay mignonette; kingfish crudo with finger lime & seaweed; beef tartare & porcini mayo; truffle mushroom arancini & fior de latte; or burrata (original, pesto or truffle) with a choice of foccacia, woodfried bread or pizza fritta.

Tommy's pasta dishes include paccheri arrabiatta, stracciatella & basil: pappardelle lamb ragu with red wine & pecorino; pesto lasagne, zucchini & green beans; and prawn fettuccine, garlic, chilli & prawn oil, while Secondi (main) dishes include mussels in white wine, garlic, cream & shallots; whole chicken with broadleaf rocket & slasa verde; and king prawns with nduja butter.

Pizzas are amongst the best you'll find on the southern Gold Coast, with a bounty of choices including mortadella; capricciosa; pepperoni, tartufo; gambero; prosciutto e rucola; miele (fior di latte, sobrasada, taleggio, red onion & spicy honey); and zucca (pumpkin purée, chargrilled zucchini & eggplant, pickled onions & rocket).

Save room for dessert, in particular Tommy's signature tiramisu, which somes highly recommended; otherwise there's creme brûlée; cannoli pistachio; baby churros with nutella; vanilla or hazelnut gelati; or lemon sorbet.

Tommy's drinks list is as impressive as the food, with beachy house cocktails such as Pink Mamma (Folly’s vodka, lychee, passionfruit liqueur & fresh lime); Coconut Club (Malibu, Bacardi coconut rum, watermelon & fresh lime); and Botanico (Tanqueray gin, pavan muscat, fresh celery, basil, fresh lemon); along with a selection of Spritz (Classic Aperol, Italian, Campari, Hugo or Amalfi). There's also a handful of mocktails,

Beers on offer include Peroni (full strength, light or zero alcohol) and 818 Lager or Pale Ale, while the wine list features a mix of Australian, NZ, Italian and French wines. There's also a selection of classic Digestivo, including Amaro, Limoncello and Grappa and white or red sangria or frizzante to share.

Tommy's Italian is open for lunch and dinner. Diners are invited to come and enjoy Tommy’s signature dishes complemented with a beautiful wine list, all while soaking up a stunning east coast sunset.
