The Standard Market Company is located at the Ferry Road Markets in Southport and is the sister store to the original James Street market store founded in 2002 by Darren Frame and Mitch Love in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley.
Today the Standard Market Company is still a family run business, now owned and operated by Darren, along with his wife Nikki and son Chris. Although two decades have passed since the inception of Fine Fruit on James, the mission remains the same: to set the standard in food retail by providing customers with the highest quality gourmet foods and ingredients, along with knowledgeable and friendly customer service.
The mission has always been to be the standard customers can trust. Hand in hand with their fruit vege and meat departments and their bakery and juice bar, The Standard Market Company in Ferry Road runs the gourmet deli Gold Coast customers love.
