Nobbys Beach
Nightcap is a funky blink-and-you-miss-it dive bar that looks like its been beamed up from a grungy inner city street and landed in the midst of the hip Nobbys Beach dining precinct.
Look for the red neon sign and step through the door into a poster-and-vinyl-record- covered foyer and turn the corner to find a world away from the streets outside.
The dim neonlit bar is scrawled with graffiti and festooned with photos, posters, guitars and artworks paying homage to the legends of rock'n'roll.
The rock theme carries over to the drinks with cocktails such as the Red Hot Chili Pepper, Strawberry Fields and ACDC Espresso martini.
There's also a range of locally brewed craft beers along with longtime legends like XXXX, VB and Toohey's New., as well as a whiskey and rum driven spirits list.
Drop in any night of the week to find local musos or DJ's providing the music and look out for weekly themed nights like Fizzy Wednesdays.
