Metro Coffee is a hidden gem of a cafe tucked away in a home centre in the commercial/industrial zone of Burleigh Heads.
A sibling for longtime Broadbeach fave of the same name, Metro Coffee occupies a charming high-ceilinged cabin-like space with dark timber rafters, casement windows, hanging plants and a mix of banquettes and Bentwood chair seating.
On par with the gorgeous ambience is the delicious food and coffee, with an all-day breakfast menu that is amongst the best to be found in Burleigh Heads.
Tuck into breakfast dishes such as honey & ricotta French toast; Eggs Benny: wild mushroom medley; chilli scrambled eggs; zucchini and haloumi fritters; or breakfast burritos.
On the lunch menu there's a choice of leg ham sandwich; mushroom melt; smoke house melt BBQ pork sandwich; or two soft tacos with crispy chicken or smoked pork; as well as burgers (wagyu beef or crispy karaage chicken); and salads (brunch or nourish bowl).
To drink there's well-brewed coffee, chai latte, smoothies, fresh squeezed juices and shakes, and from the counter a selection of sweet treats. There's also a kids menu for ages 12 and under.
Need to know - There is plenty of free offstreet parking available in the centre.
