You’ll find Vanilla Lily, the younger sister café to Café Kirra, in the heart of Coolangatta’s busy beachfront food strip at 110 Marine Parade – the Greenmount Beach end of Cooly.
This is a relaxed, sophisticated space, brought to you by Dean and Lisa Saul, aimed at bringing the enjoyment of consciously and locally sourced real food, amazing coffee and beach inspired drinks to the Southern Gold Coast.
Vanilla Lily is as divine and inspired a space as it sounds. The front dining deck provides ample shaded seating options, looking out over Marine Parade to the beach, offering plenty of sunshine and salty sea breezes. The beautiful pink-hued interior is accented by hanging pendant lights, plush bench seating and the stunning rose quartz countertop imported from Brazil.
The crisp white and slick Slayer Espresso machine is busy serving up their incredibly popular Exotic espresso roast coffee, with deep smooth body, chocolate and mandarin spice flavours from the Byron Bay Coffee Company. For those in a rush, there is a selection of sweet and fluffy fresh cabinet treats including almond sourdough croissants, mixed berry and custard Danish, sourdough banana bread, Munja bakery slices and freshly-baked muffins and cookies.
Breakfast favourites include the Vanilla Lily granola, the Lily Nourish (sauteed seasonal greens, roasted chickpeas, dukka-crusted roast pumpkin, avocado and turmeric hummus) and the Lily Grand (with two free range eggs your way, bacon, chorizo, avocado, mushrooms, beans, hash browns, sourdough toast and housemade spiced red pepper jam).
Lunch fare includes delights such as the Mushroom Halloumi burger, lemon pepper calamari, and roasted chickpea and cauliflower tacos (topped with lime crema and mango salsa).
Complementing your meal, the café offers six fresh juice combinations as well as three special Lily smoothies (Green, Banana and Berry), along with regular ice-cream smoothies, Kombucha , and loose leaf teas from the Byron Bay Tea Company.
Best of all, Vanilla Lily is licensed to and serves beer, wine and cocktails from 10am. Every Friday and Saturday evening enjoy a modern take on classic beachside cuisine with the seasonal tapas menu.
