Nobby Beach

Buoy Cafe is a welcome addition to the Nobby Beach foodie scene located in the impressive, contemporary dining and lifestyle precinct on Lavarack Road. This serene retreat offers an escape into seaside indulgence with every sip and bite carefully curated to capture the essence of coastal living.

Buoy Café Nobby Beach

Nestled within The Oxley 1823, Buoy, pronounced boo-ee, shares the tranquil and leafy atrium space with Oxley 1823 Sub Station and the Sunkist Eatery and is a slick cafe from Brodie Green and the talented team behind Burleigh Heads coffee institution, Seadog on James. Beyond Buoy, the central laneway leads through to the Oxley Village Grocer, the Oxley Village Butcher and the Oxley Village Deli to complete the lifestyle offerings.

Buoy Café Nobby Beach

Buoy, found at the entrance of the central laneway, offers a streamlined grab-and-go counter service or a full dine-in experience that exudes contemporary charm and is inspired by the relaxed Nobby Beach lifestyle. With seating for 100 inside the atrium, the high roofs let the seabreeze flow through the lush space complete with palms, ferns and hanging greenery. There are also plenty of cute-canopied tables outside offering seating for 40 discerning diners.

Buoy Café Nobby Beach

Buoy is set to be a foodie favourite offering French pastries, tea and coffee—serving their own “Sunnyboy” blend of premium coffee—as well as elevated all-day breakfast favourites such as the Breaky Burger, Ricotta Pancakes, Classic Eggs Benedict, Feta Scrambled Eggs on Sourdough and the Buoy Big Breakfast.

Buoy serves Vegan and Gluten-free offerings and caters to children with Kid’s Choccy Chip Pancakes and the Kid’s Cheeseburger. There is plenty of sidewalk space to park your bike alongside conveniently placed water bowls for thirsty canines. Customer parking is available alongside the precinct which is set to expand in 2024, with the team behind Gold Coast icon Rick Shores and Brisbane’s Southside launching an inspired two-level space, featuring a Latin American restaurant, an open-air rooftop ceviche bar and private dining rooms.
