Think Holliday with a double “L” and you’ll find delectable coffee with a double “F” and “E”. Nowhere else will you find the specialty strong “Wide Awake” espresso blend proudly sourced from Melbourne’s bean pioneers, St. Ali. Each morning the rich aromas—like the Pied Piper—bring a crowd to this sunny corner to congregate and chat over coffee, at the curbside tables, under peachy umbrellas.

Owners, Liv Ayres and Marcus Wilkins, the brains behind the beans at Burleigh’s institution coffee house Nook Espresso, created this casual community coffee corner to capture the essence of the coast. Their corner offers a ‘nook-style’ take-away window complete with yellow bench and pooch friendly watering bowls and appropriately shares the open inside space with The Surfboard Empire upstairs adding to the relaxed beachy vibe. There’s nothing quite as beachy as enjoying a cuppa and a bite under the curl of a blue barrel ridden by creatures of leisure.

Speaking of bites, the friendly team at The Holliday delight in serving up light bites and casual café fare, including three-cheese Jaffles, avo tomato cheese and basil croissants and açai bowls with fresh fruit and granola.
