Bantr Cafe

Bantr Cafe is a cool cafe with a modernist Scandi aesthetic and a laidback beachy vibe, located on the Gold Coast Highway at the northern end of Palm Beach.

Owned by two hospitality veterans who once headed up popular Gold Coast haunt Currumbin Shack, Bantr is open daily for breakfast, lunch and top notch All Press coffee.

Customers can take a seat on the European-style cafe chairs outside or inside, where art works line the walls, and partake in a menu that, despite its simplicity, packs a punch with its flavours and quality ingredients.

For breakfast (available all day) there's eggs (scrambled, poached or fried) on toast with tomato relish; Eggs Benny with  choice of bacon, spinach, salmon or pulled pork; bacon & egg roll - plain or loaded (with roquette, cheese, caramelized onions and hash brown); Acai bowl; or smashed avocado topped with chick peas, broccoli crumb & goats cheese on sourdough (must0try!),

There's also zucchini and corn fritters stacked with chilli jam, roquette, haloumi and poached egg (recommended) as well as a healthy Bantr Bowl (Moroccan honey roasted pumpkin, grilled greens & spinach, blistered cherry tomatoes, enoki mushrooms, housemade beetroot hummus & toasted almonds). Meantikme for lunch there's a choice of pulled pork, beef or karaage chicken burger.

As well as the excellent coffee, drinks include hot chocolate, chai or iced latte, loose leaf tea, organic smoothies, milk shakes, cold pressed juices, soft drinks and matcha or strawberry matcha. 

Good to know - Bantr Cafe is dog friendly. The menu is also available as takeaway.

Need to know - There is limited on-street parking on the Gold Coast Highway (Bantr Cafe is on the beachside) and nearby streets.
