Stable Coffee Kitchen
Tugun
Stable Coffee Kitchen is a beautifully designed cultural space for locals and visitors alike in the Cornerstone Stores in Currumbin/Tugun, boasting an ex-Gwinganna executive chef, a plant-based menu and a thoughtfully stocked bar and rotating wine list.
Surrounded by artwork by Claudio Kirac, choose between the comfortable indoor seating or the ‘No Sleep Club’ coffee bar, the bar or bench courtyard seating in the oakwood accented cornerstone or the relaxed umbrella covered picnic seating of the garden setting outdoors. Stable serves up stylish coffee from Melbourne’s micro roasters ‘Seven Seeds’ and offers Balter beer on tap, as well as a selection of curated wines and signature drinks.
With a real-food home-made menu based healthy living, Stable only sources ethical produce, locally sourced wherever possible. The extensive breakfast menu served till 11am offers everything from Carrot and Cinnamon or Buckwheat Banofee Porridge to Breaky rolls, Petit Dejeuner, Scandi breakfasts and Pumpkin and goat’s curd open toasties. Choose from a huge selection of add-ons too, like the Mushroom Medley and quinoa and potato hash to name a few.
Come in and sample delicious lunch options like the Mint, Pea and Asparagus Risotto, the Taco Duo with cabbage slaw, pineapple and chilli salsa, cashew mayo and guacamole or the Tofu Poke Bowl with marinated tofu, brown rice, carrot, radish, avocado, sunomono cucumber, pickled red onion and sesame dressing, all served till 2pm. And of course, there are lunch staples like the Chimi Burger, Shoestring or sweet potato fries as well as vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free and kid-friendly options, for both breakfast and lunch. The divine menu is topped off by seasonal star salads and inspired signature drinks from local artisan producers, like kombucha, sparkling lavender and rose water.
