La Fira

La Fira is a chic little Greek-Mediterranean restaurant in the heart of Burleigh Heads, with a menu that takes diners on a flavoursome journey throughout the Mediterranean region.

With a handful of tables outside, inside the exotic minimalist dining room is a vision of elegance, with a cosy and inviting ambience. 

Renowned for its generous portions, La Fira's menu offers delectable starters  such as Tyropitakia (herbed triple cheese pastries); Kibbeh; halloumi saganaki; lemon garlic wings; Batata Harra (spicy potatoes) and homemade dips (charred eggplant, tzatziki, hummus or creamy garlic). 

House specialty at La Fira are the succulent chargrilled steaks, including  Wagyu Ribeye Platter; Tenderloin Filet Mignon Royale; New York Strip (wagyu) and La Fira Signature Steak (chargrilled to perfection and served with garlic and creamy mushroom sauce and golden roasted potatoes and seasonal charred vegetables).

And for seafood lovers there's spiced grilled barramundi; grilled jumbo prawns; or barramundi lemonato (barramundi topped with lemon garlic butter. La Fira also has a couple of house specialty pastas - creamy prawn or creamy chicken.

Mains include lamb or chicken souvlaki plate; half charcoal chicken in creamy mushroom sauce; whilst mix plates (perfect for sharing) include lamb, chicken, kafta or vegetarian, as well as the mega Mixed Deluxe Platter and the ultimate La Fira Mixed Plate  - signature combo of  marinated chicken, lamb & kafta skewers, lamb cutlet, rice, hummus, garlic dip, salad and bread.

There's also a selection of delicious salads, with a choice of fattoush, Greek village salad, rocket or watermelon and cheese salad. And for dessert, diners can choose from baklava, chocolate lava cake or La Fira Danish custard pastry with vanilla ice-cream.

For drinks, La Fira has a menu of classic cocktails, a wine list that has both standard and premium wine offerings, spirits, shots and an extensive liqueur list; along with international and Australian beers as well as soft drinks and cold teas. 

Good to know - There is also a kids menu and banquets are available for a minimum of 3 diners.
