Mudgeeraba
Updated: Dec 24, 2025
Less than 10 minutes off the M1 and you’re transported into a Jurassic Park-esque world at Cook Club in Mudgeeraba. Surrounded by 200 acres of incredible landscape in The Boomerang Farm, Cook Club is serving up a fresh, spring-inspired menu with an Asian twist for breakfast, lunch and early dinner.
It’s bold signature colours of tangerine and teal, work in beautiful contrast with the rainforest backdrop. As you enter, cross over the picturesque Mudgeeraba Creek and follow the signs to guest parking. Look for the bright colours and you’ll find Cook Club!
There’s plenty of seating available, including high and low tables which are undercover. Or if you're wanting to bask in the sunshine, perhaps opt for the deck.
Kick back and relax with a cocktail (or two)… The Easy On The Eyes with coconut rum and watermelon as well as the Ninja Nectar with vanilla vodka and yuzu are standouts. The cocktails are well balanced and the perfect refresher for the warm Gold Coast weather.
One section of the menu is Cook Club’s small plates. The Kingfish Ceviche is particularly impressive with compressed melon, coconut cream and finger limes. Other noteworthy small dishes are the Whizz Fizz Chicken and the Betel Leaf Grilled Prawns.
Cook Club also offers a delicious, pillowy BBQ Pork Belly Bao for the bao fans. The pork belly is juicy and delectable but it is the lime mayo that really sets this dish apart.
For dumpling lovers, you can choose between Prawns & Chives, Shiitake or our recommendation, the Lemongrass Pork & Wombok. The succulent pork dumplings are served with a perfectly paired fermented sweet chilli dipping sauce.
However, the dish of the day has to be the Charcoal Grilled Short-Ribs. The meat is so incredibly tender, it falls straight off the bone. The Black Pepper and Tamarind sauce has such an immense depth of flavour, you’ll almost want to lick the bowl clean…
You can even be an early bird and go to Cook Club for a bit of breakfast. You could try the classic Avo on Toast or mix it up with the Kimchi Pancakes.
Need to Know - Cook Club offers ample guest parking. Just follow the signs when you arrive.
