Gemellini

Gemellini is a casual and intimate trattoria located on the Gold Coast Highway which brings sophisticated share plates, wood fired pizza, handmade pasta and celebrated Italian wines to foodie strip at Nobby Beach.  The ‘baby brother’ to the Broadbeach venue, Gemellini was established in 2016 to offer exceptional Italian cuisine to the southern end of the Gold Coast.

Look for Gemellini’s sleek black signage, push through the big wooden door and enter into the sophisticated, mood-lit and intimate dining space.  There is once large curb side setting outside and plenty of bar and bench style seating inside.  Take a seat and prepare yourself for an authentic Italian dining experience.

Gemellini is focused on creating the traditional Italian feast experience with a menu designed for sharing and enjoying together with family and friends.  You are encouraged to start with one of the rustic antipasti dishes of salumi and buffalo mozzarella before onto the fresh pasta or woodfired pizza menu, all cooked in an impressive woodfired oven imported from Italy.  All the pasta is made fresh daily and the vegan pastas are dairy and egg free.  There are also vegan and gluten free pizza options, and there is a delightful ‘Bambini’ menu for the kids.

The wine list is hand selected with a strong focus on indigenous north Italian varietals and lesser-known styles from the south. Gemellini frequently feature in Gourmet Traveller Wine Magazine’s ‘Wine List of the Year’ awards, reflecting the passion they put into their list.  As if to demonstrate the extent to which drinking wine and eating are intertwined in Italian life, Gemellini has matched wines perfectly to their menu, so diners get the full Italian experience.
