Fu Manchu Oriental

Fu Manchu Oriental is an Asian Fusion restaurant, cocktail and wine bar that dishes up traditional south-east Asian flavours with a European twist.

Located on Surfers Paradise's Chevron Island, this funky nosh spot is a must visit. 

Inside, Fu Manchu boasts a dark and moody colour palette with a wild jungle-themed wallpaper - providing the perfect setting for a date night or catch up with friends. You can dine upstairs in the main dining room, or enjoy a more casual dining experience in the ground level bar. 

On the food front, Fu Manchu offers a flavour-packed menu filled with a range of starters, bao buns, dumplings, curries, large plates, sides and desserts. 

Some standouts include the slipper lobster bao buns, chicken sesame skewers, green coconut cream curry with barramundi, beef cheek rendang, szechuan crispy skin duck and the banana roti. 

Pair your food with one of Fu Manchu's signature cocktails, like the Lucky Yuzu (Skyy Vodka and Yuzu sake with watermelon syrup, citrus and a Fortune cookie), Drunk Monk (Baron Samedi Spiced rum, coconut liquor,
pineapple and lime) or The Butterfly Effect (Ink gin with sweet orange and lemon myrtle, lychee liqueur and lime). There is also an extensive range of wine, beer and spirits. 

Fu Manchu also hosts functions in its main dining room upstairs, which caters to 55 seated and 70 cocktail style, or for a more relaxed event the downstairs bar is perfect for roving canapes and drinks service.
