Spoon And Bean Café is a cool neighbourhood hangout on Nineteenth Avenue, Elanora which prides itself on keeping it simple with “the best coffee in town” and “scrumptious handmade eats” whilst selling locally made homewares, collectables and art.

This community minded space offers a relaxed atmosphere with comfortable bench seating indoors and colourful round tables and an inviting picnic rug and hammock swing outdoors. You are as likely to see a bevy of happy mums and bubs as locals arriving on horseback to take advantage of the comfy and convenient space. As well as their morning cup of Joe, locals come in to browse the community notice board as well as the plants, furniture, honey, art and knick-knacks for sale.

The friendly baristas welcome you in from 6am daily for a Social Espresso liquid hug for your brain, encouraging you to sip sustainably as you go with reusable glass cups.  The menu of house staples includes delightful dishes such as Bircher muesli and chia jars, a bacon and egg breaky burrito, build-your-own bagels, leg ham and swiss cheese and garlic mushroom croissants, roast pumpkin frittata, smashed avo on sourdough, savory muffins, zucchini slice with relish, gluten-free brownies, bliss balls, sweet ‘n sourdough artisan doughnuts and other assorted pastries.

Locals’ favourites include the Roast Pumpkin and Pine Nut Schmear on a toasted @holebagelco Bagel and the loaded Cuban sandwich on toasted sourdough. Beverage options include a “happy happy soy boy” latte, chai and herbal teas, organic beverages from Simple Juicery, Raw Earth Kombucha, as well as soy, almond, coconut, oat and lactose free milk options.

Enjoy the impeccable service of Spoon and Bean while the Barista’s explains that “procaffeinating” is the tendency not to start anything until you’ve had a cup of coffee.
