Ciccio's Pizza & Gelato

Ciccio's Pizza & Gelato is a convivial one-of-a-kind Italian pizza and gelato bar located in the heart of Broadbeach's dining precinct.

Diners can take a seat in the covered terrace area outside (perfect for people-watching) or inside behind the gelato bar, where there's an open kitchen with giant pizza oven so you can watch the pizza chefs at work. 

While pizzas and gelato are the drawcards at Ciccio's, the entrees are worth savouring, with delectable choices like Au Vent -pastry shells filled with Ciccio’s Nonna mushroom cream secret recipe; crumbed mozzarella cheese balls; and mussels calzone (to share) - folded pizza filled with mussels, fresh chilli, parsley and cracked black pepper.

The extensive pizza menu offers a choice of traditional pizzas cooked to perfection, with red toppings including the classics such as Margherita, Diavola, Marinara and Capricciosa and white including Mushrooms (truffled cooking cream base, fresh local cow mozzarella mushrooms, pecorino, parsley); Ai Gamberi (mozzarella, prawns, home made semi-dry tomatoes, fresh Stracciatella cheese, parsley, cracked black pepper, garlic) and Poverella (mozzarella, fried zucchini, Sicilian anchovies, bread crumbs & parsley) 

For the more adventurous, Ciccio's gourmet pizza menu is a must-try, with creative toppings like Purple Rain (Italian pork fennel sausage, golden onion, olive dust, basil & oregano on a purple potato and cream base); Polipo (fresh local cow mozzarella, marinated octopus & parsley on a truffled wild mushroom and cream base); and Ciccio's favourite (pulled beef, pecorino, cherries, fresh Stracciatella cheese & shallots on a pureed carrot base).

For dessert diners can opt for a gelato cup or cone (try the limone or chocolate - the best on the Gold Coast); or indulge in a gelato-topped pizza (traditional gelato dessert from southern Italy) or a gelato-filled brioche (Sicilian) with a choice of three flavours.

Drinks-wise, Ciccio's has a curated Italian wine list that can be paired with your pizza (suggestions on the menu to go with each topping); and there's also Italian soft drinks and sparkling water and coffee.

Even if you're not planning to dine there, it's worth swinging by for Ciccio's handcrafted gelato, with 18 flavours to choose from, including strawberry or pineapple mint sorbet and Zuppa Inglese (rum custard).

Good to know - There's also a small kids menu of bunny-shaped pizza with red sauce and mozzarella cheese, deep fried pasta bites or crumbed fried mozzarella cheese balls.

Need to know -  Orders are taken by QR code at the table. Doggos are welcome to join their owners at the outodoor tables. If you get there early there's metered parking available around the corner alongside the park on Queensland Avenue.
