Conkabar

Conkabar is a family-run Mexican-inspired cafe in the heart of Burleigh Heads serving up classic Aussie breakfast and brunch dishes with a delicious Mexican twist.

Diners can pull up a seat on the footpath or in the spacious inviting interior and indulge in the authentic fusion flavours of 'Brexican bliss'.

The signature dish is the legendary Mexa Burrito, a toasted tortilla packed with scrambled eggs, smoky chorizo, and house-made ConKa salsa. For those who like it hot, the Jalapeño Benny substitutes the standard muffin for a flaky croissant, topped with poached eggs and a bright, addictive jalapeño Hollandaise.

The Omelette De Chorizo is another must-try: a fluffy egg omelette loaded with smoky chorizo and melted cheese, topped with fresh homemade pico de gallo, avocado, and crumbled feta.

There's also a small selection of delicious toasties such as the Tortita (torta roll with ham, mayo, scrambled eggs, avo, tomato, red onion, halloumi and home made chipotle sauce); or mushroom & halloumi wih tasty cheese.

To drink, skip the standard coffee and try their signature Cajeta Latte, blending smooth Merlo coffee with silky Mexican caramel or their equally delicious Cajeta Iced Matcha.
