Crazy Cat Cafe
Surfers Paradise
Updated: Mar 11, 2026
Crazy Cat Cafe is a unique and cosy licensed cat cafe, complete with 23 resident cats, located upstairs in the heart of Surfers Paradise.
The only fully licensed cat cafe in Australia, Crazy Cat Cafe also has almost double the number of resident cats found in average in other cat cafes.
Those who wish to hang out and interact with the cats can do so via paid 30 minute sessions in the Cat & VIP lounge, where bookings are highly recommended. Note that children 12 & under must be accompanied by an adult - they cannot enter the Cat or VIP Lounge without an adult & must be supervised at all times.
The cafe and balcony (with great views of Surfers) do not require bookings and customers can grab a drink and bite to eat, without visiting the Cat & VIP Lounge.
The food menu features a selection of savoury and sweet baked goods, including quiches, pies, croissants, toasted sandwiches and lamingtons, cheescake, brownies and cookies, whilst drinks include coffee, tea, smoothies frappes, milk shakes and soft drinks.
As for bar drinks, there's a handful of bottled beers and ciders, a choice of 2 white and 2 red wines, spirits & liquers (vodka, Baileys, Tripe Sec and Kahlua); and cocktails including Espresso or Latte Martini, Frozen Daiquiri, Caprioska, Bloody Mary, Cosmpolitan and Mimosa.
Good to know - Last cat session and last cafe orders half an hour before closing.
Need to know - Nearest parking is at Chevron Renaissance (2 hours free).
