Loose Moose and Roosevelt are two interpretations of the same era for different classes.

This sophisticated and swanky oak bar looks lifted from a 1920’s Gatsby party and from the minute you enter through the almost-hidden, roped-off doorway (via the Loose Moose) you’ll find the ambience intoxicating. From the rich hues of lush blue velvet and chocolate chesterfields across the deluxe deco carpet to the red velvet bar stools and raised Roosevelt Presidential back booth, this gorgeous bar will have you enamoured. Under the sultry lighting of crystal chandeliers and golden candelabras, watched over by iconic movie stars Hedy Lamarr and Marilyn Monroe, in a beautiful black and white homage, you’ll sip sumptuous cocktails from vintage glasses and swoon at the handsome bust of Roosevelt himself.

Everything is the best of the best — the champagne is Ruinart and Dom Perignon, the first pour vodka is Belvedere Black, the best vodka you can buy. With an almost overwhelming drinks menu (35 pages) you are guaranteed to find your tipple of choice, from classic and signature cocktails to champagnes and wines, to whiskeys and gins. Why not try the Signature Nostalgia for a Nikka Coffey gin, Green Chartreuse, aloe vera, lime, kaffir lime and cucumber syrup served with a Polaroid selfie.

The food menu is simply marked with an ‘R’ and offers something to get started, something small, something more and sweets and cheese. Why not start with an Antipasto board, followed by a Salmon Cerviche, then Asahi prawns topped by your choice of cheeses.
