Marine Parade Foreshore Walk

Northern Gold Coast Walk

Updated: Oct 27, 2023

The coastal suburb of Labrador, north of Southport, overlooks the Gold Coast’s beautiful Broadwater and offers one of the most scenic waterfront walks on the Gold Coast.

Harley Park, Marine Parade Foreshore Walk

Labrador’s Marine Parade is a 3.5-kilometre moderately trafficked trail stretching from Len Fox Park on Loders Creek north passed pelican-favourite Ian Dipple Lagoon and Harley Park opposite the historic Grand Hotel and famous Charis Seafood onward north to Quota Park.

Marine Parade Foreshore Walk

With panoramic views of the Broadwater with sailing boats rolling and pitching to the lapping tides, this a four-metre-wide pedestrian and cycle pathway runs the full length of Labrador’s charming foreshore – a place where 1960s beach culture meets the English seaside.

Marine Parade Foreshore Walk

Charming Labrador is one of the Gold Coast's best kept secret - where original surf shacks still line the lush semi-tropical streets, many of them beautifully restored to their retro best.  The walk is also dotted with interactive and inventive sculptures, including the “Scales in Sea” and 4 Metal Fish, erected as part of a community renewal project.

Accessible year-round, the flat paved path makes this walk perfect for all skill levels and is primarily used for walking, running, dog walking... and scooting!
