Palm Beach Surf Club
Palm Beach
Out of all the surf clubs dotted along the Gold Coast beachfront, Palm Beach Surf Club is one of the smallest and best.
The convivial club features terraced deck seating directly overlooking the sand dunes and beach and the bistro meals are amongst the better offerings of the Gold Coast clubs.

Open for breakfast lunch and dinner, at any time of day it makes for a great spot to sit and enjoy a leisurely meal or a sunset drink. Breakfast fare includes lighter options such as acai or granola bowl and toasted banana bread ranging up through French toast, zucchini fritters and haloumi or brekkie burger to the clubbie's breakfast.
For lunch there's a range of burgers (including garden, classic beef, or southern fried chicken), fish and chips or linguine primavera, whilst for both lunch and dinner dishes include steaks (rump, porterhouse or rib fillet), prawn or mushroom risotto, dukkah crumbed chicken or grilled Tasmanian salmon, There are also 'club classics' such as chicken schnitty, salt and pepper calamari or creamy garlic and chilli prawns and a selection of tasty house salads.
Meanwhile, tapas style dishes to share include barramundi spring rolls, Thai fish cakes, garlic pizza bread, tomato and bocconcini arancini, potato wedges or a pint of prawns. There's also a range of nipper's meals for the little ones.
Good to know - Palm Beach Surf Club offers a coutesy bus service to selected Gold Coast suburbs for club members.
