Burleigh Farmers Market
Gold Coast Markets
Burleigh Farmers Market is your Saturday morning market for all things fresh, held every week in the grounds of Burleigh Heads State School at the intersection of the Gold Coast Highway and West Burleigh Road.
As you enter the market and are greeted by Britt's friendly parrot (perched on her bespoke soy candles) and the dulcet tunes of a local musician, you'll notice that this market has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere and features locally grown organic fruit and vegetables, fresh cut flowers and plants, locally made produce such as super foods, gourmet foods, baked goods, beverages and honey.
Outside of the food products and farm-grown, you’ll also find stalls selling antiques, collectibles, arts and crafts, and an array of other unique locally-made products.
Before you begin your market adventure, you may want to stop by one of the coffee cart to kick off with a caffeine hit and a morning snack.
Beside the coffee carts you’ll find Goodmix Superfoods where you can pick up a breakfast booster with certified organic ingredients that guarantee you the best poos in town!
Next to the bustling coffee carts, the freshly-squeezed cold-pressed orange juice draws a morning crowd of health-conscious market-goers.
Similarly busy is Raw Earth Organic, slewing out on-tap Kombucha blends with enticing flavours like passionfruit mojito and pineapple coconut.
There are lots of food options for those with an appetite, from the Vegery's vegetarian street food, Wicked wraps and Panko potatos, to baked 'What You Dough' foccacias and 'What A Mess' toasties.
Once fed and quenched, you'll be ready to pick-up your fresh fruit and vege from one of the many local farmers, like Reserve Creek Organics, who've brought their lush-looking produce to market.
This is the perfect place to come to line your basket with bright red juicy tomatoes, bountiful leaves of green vege, perfectly ripened navel oranges, prickly pineapples, homegrown organic herbs, and sprayfree tumeric, garlic and ginger.
Market goers are also busy buying bulk food including pasta, flours, peanut butter, spices, nut meals and pantry-fillers, care of Tierra Bulk Food.
Also popular is the goodness of raw unprocessed cold-extracted honey brought straight from the bees, thanks to Honey East Coast Bee Services.
Follow the bees to the blooms but be warned, you’ll need to have a big basket with you, as you’ll find it hard to pass the beautiful big bouquets of floral art of Fleur Niche.
